304L Stainless Steel Round Bar

304L stainless steel round bar is a low-carbon austenitic stainless steel. By reducing the carbon content to below 0.03%, the precipitation of carbides during welding and high temperature environments is significantly reduced, thereby improving the resistance to intergranular corrosion. Its typical composition is 18-20% chromium and 8-12% nickel. It has excellent acid and alkali resistance and oxidation resistance, and is suitable for corrosive environments such as food processing, chemical equipment, and pharmaceutical machinery. This material has good mechanical properties (tensile strength ≥485MPa, yield strength ≥170MPa) and processing plasticity, supports cold and hot forming, welding and other processes, and does not require annealing after welding.
